Bouncy Castle FAQs...

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes we do. We are covered with up to £5Million of Public Liability Insurance. If you are planning to hire a bouncy castle in a venue such as a pub, club, school or nursery, you may be asked by the owners if the company you are hiring from has Public Liability Insurance and they may want to see documents to prove this. We are happy to oblige with this request.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my booking?

This is probably the question we get asked the most. Unfortunately, you can never guarantee a sunny day here in the North West! Heavy rain and in particular strong winds can be a huge safety issue for bouncy castles. We are not allowed to operate in wind gusts stronger than 27mph. As the weather is so unpredictable here, we always assess conditions on the day of the booking (as forecasts are often wrong). If the weather is deemed to be unsuitable or unsafe, we will contact you immediately to let you know. Any deposits paid can then be used towards a future booking on a mutually agreed alternative date.

Are your castles safe?

Safety is ALWAYS our number one priority! That's why we take accurate measurements of things such as windspeed before putting up an inflatable. We also assess every individual site to ensure inflatables are put up correctly and securely and we ensure the person responsible for the castle is fully aware of all safety information before we leave. We are ALWAYS contactable to answer any questions or concerns. All of our inflatables have PIPA tags and are tested on an annual basis. PIPA is an inspection scheme setup by the inflatable play industry to ensure all equipment conforms to recognised safety standards. The scheme is supported by the HSE. Can a castle be put on a hard surface outside such as a car park or patio?

This question doesn't have a straightforward answer unfortunately, as each case is different. As a general rule, we cannot put a bouncy castle on a hard surface outdoors if there is no way for us to secure it using pegs. However, if there are areas such as flowerbeds around the surface, or items such as lampposts, fence posts etc we may be able to use these to secure the castle instead. If you want to put a castle on a hard surface but are unsure if is suitable, please Get In Touch to discuss. We are happy to come and assess a site in person before any booking.

Can you recommend an indoor venue suitable for a bouncy castle?

Sure! We have put together this handy list of some of the venues we have visited with our Bouncy Castles.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 48 hours notice to amend or cancel any Bouncy Castle booking. If amendment/cancellation is made with more than 48 hours notice, any deposits paid can be refunded or transferred to a new booking. If amendment/cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notice, we retain the right to keep any deposits paid.

Do I need to know anything else about booking a bouncy castle?

We highly recommend reading our Terms & Conditions and Rules & Guidelines before booking. These will also be emailed to you at the time of booking.
